Frozen

Tameah is Sudanese falafel, made the way it's made at home. Chickpeas, coriander and green herbs, ground fresh. Crisp on the outside and green all the way through when you fry it.

  • Sealed pouch, frozen
  • Fry it straight from frozen
  • Halal, always

Allergens

Made from chickpeas, coriander and green herbs. We don't add peanut, sesame, wheat, milk or egg to it.

But it's made and fried in one kitchen that also handles peanut (dakwa), sesame (tahini), wheat and milk, on shared equipment and in shared oil. We can't promise it's free of traces. If you're cooking for a serious allergy, email drinkkarkade@gmail.com before you order and we'll tell you straight what we can and can't promise.

How the week works

Made fresh once a week, to order. We don't hold stock we haven't sold.

  • Order by Sunday night. That's the cutoff for that week's batch.
  • Made Monday and Tuesday.
  • Collect from the stall. Penrith on Thursdays or Blacktown on Sundays. Parramatta is still waiting on council.

Order after Sunday and you're in the next batch. We'll email you either way so you know which market to come to.

Getting it to you

  • Collect at a market, free. The addresses are in the Find Us section.
  • Express delivery, anywhere in Australia. Australia Post Express Post plus $25 handling per parcel, packed frozen with ice packs. The rates are here.

Frozen freight is expensive, and the further away you are the less we can promise about the state it turns up in. Collecting is nearly always the better call.
