These terms cover your use of this website and any order you place with us. When you place an order, you're agreeing to them.
1. Who we are
This store trades under the registered business name Karkade (ABN 50 702 592 688), registered with ASIC on 28 June 2026. Karkade Kitchen is a brand of the same business. We're based in Western Sydney, New South Wales. You can reach us at drinkkarkade@gmail.com.
2. Products
Everything we make is halal. We cook in small batches, so colour, size and weight can vary a little between runs. Product photos are a guide.
Some products here are sold as pre-orders and aren't in stock yet. Those are clearly marked. Nothing on this site is an offer to supply something we don't have.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where it applies. We can change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order you've already placed. Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify. We don't store your card details.
4. Allergens and dietary information
Our food is made in a kitchen that handles peanut, sesame, wheat, milk and eggs. If you have a serious allergy, talk to us before you order. We'll always tell you straight what's in something.
5. Ordering and availability
We can decline or cancel an order if a product isn't available, if there's been a pricing error, or if we can't deliver to your address. If we cancel, you get a full refund.
6. Delivery and collection
Dried products ship Australia wide. Frozen products can be collected free, or posted express with a handling fee. Have a look at our Shipping and Collection page for the detail.
7. Refunds
Food isn't refundable for change of mind. If something turns up wrong or damaged we'll replace it or refund it. See our Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Pre-orders
A pre-order holds stock from an upcoming batch. We'll email you a dispatch date once the batch is scheduled. You can cancel a pre-order for a full refund any time before it ships.
9. Communications
If you give us your email at checkout and opt in, we'll email you about launches, tastings and market days. Every message has an unsubscribe link and you can leave whenever you want.
10. Intellectual property
The Karkade and Karkade Kitchen names, logos, artwork and photography on this site belong to us. Please don't use them without asking.
11. Liability
We don't exclude any liability that can't be excluded by law, including under the Australian Consumer Law. Beyond that, our liability for any claim is limited to the value of the order it relates to.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. Whatever version is published when you order is the version that applies to your order.
