We're a Sudanese Australian food business in Western Sydney. Club days, festivals, community events and private catering, plus Blacktown Markets on selected Sundays, and Sydney delivery for the drink and our frozen goods.
We turn up early, we set up clean, and we can handle a queue. Everything we cook is halal, always.
“The food was honest amazing brother, the boys were fighting over the two burgers. I guess they now know what to order next time. And the drinks, OMG, get me the LM karkade anytime.”
Our first catering client, Western Sydney community services, August 2026
Where we've cooked
Sudanese Australian Home's day of Sudanese culture, creativity and local businesses. Ice cold karkade from 2pm to 10pm.
A collab with Promote The GOAT, who brought us there, with Westfield Mt Druitt and PCYC Mt Druitt. Cold karkade on the court from 11am to 4pm, and no caffeine in it, so the players had one too.

A free family netball day from Netball NSW. We did the food and the cold karkade.
MC Bridge of Hope with United Cultures SSD and Afrofy. A South Sudanese and Sudanese community evening connecting young adults with local business owners and professionals.

Full day soccer carnival. We set the stall up on the sideline and cooked straight through it, rolls and cold karkade going out between games.
A volunteer run family day to open the season. We brought the drinks and the smokehouse for the whole day. Karkade has no caffeine in it, so the kids had one too.
Two of us on the counter, the barbecue going, and a queue that doesn't stop. This is what we're like on a big day.
One of the biggest African community festivals in the country. We poured cold karkade all day alongside The Pharaoh BBQ.
Our Sunday stall. Come and taste it, then order online.
Most of this job is the part nobody photographs. Loading in before sunrise and packing down after dark.
Coming up. Blacktown Markets, Sunday 18 October from 7am. Africultures Festival, Cathy Freeman Park, Saturday 24 October, 11am to 8pm, food and drinks. Blacktown Markets, Sunday 25 October from 7am. Everything's here.

Why we say yes to community work
We're a Sudanese family business in an area full of young people who don't see many businesses that look like theirs. So when a community organisation asks us to come and cook, or to sit down with young people and talk about how we started, we say yes.
That work isn't a marketing exercise for us and we're careful about how we talk about it. We don't put young people's faces online, and we don't name a program until the people running it say we can.
If you're running something for young people in Western Sydney and you think we'd be useful, get in touch.

Allergens. We cook Sudanese food and peanut and sesame are in the sauces. Shatta be dakwa and salata be dakwa have peanut. Garlic tahini has sesame. The rolls have wheat. It all comes out of one kitchen on shared equipment, so we can't promise anything is free of them. Tell us early if you're catering for an allergy and we'll be straight with you about what we can do.
