Dried Karkade Hibiscus

Whole dried hibiscus calyces, the same ones we brew with. Not cut, not powdered, not a teabag full of dust.

Steep a handful in hot water, let it cool, pour it over ice. That's karkade, the way it's made in Sudanese homes. Sweeten it or don't, up to you.

300g makes up to 20 litres. 600g up to 40. 1.2kg is for the family that drinks it every day.

How far it goes depends on how strong you like it. Go heavier for a deeper cup.

It's shelf stable, so we post it anywhere in Australia with tracked Australia Post Parcel Post. We charge what Australia Post charges us plus 10% for handling and packaging. Rates are here. Free to collect at any market stall.
